Who We Are
Sacramento Wildlife Center is an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer-based organization, established September of 2016.
We are funded entirely by public donations and do not receive any federal or state funding to operate.
Our organization was founded by a handful of devoted and experienced individuals who sought to assist in the massive task of caring for California's large population of wildlife in need. Our organization's reach extends within, and surrounding, the Greater Sacramento Area.
The organization is in its infancy as our team assembles the masses of federal, state, and county requirements for doing business as a wildlife rehabilitation organization, going above and beyond minimum standards. We hope to bring new environmental awareness to the area and join together with dedicated animal enthusiasts to create the highest level of care and experience in wildlife rehabilitation.
Please contact us for more information on how to get involved or for suggestions on how to cope with your wild neighbors!
